Dancin' Queen

Gracen had her first dance open house the other week at MGM studio of the dance. I'm so impressed with all the progress she has made. The class is tap/ballet/tumbling. The instructors are big into proper form & blowing kisses at the audience. And they do this thing each week when they get in a circle, and each girl gets a turn to lead the class in a dance step. Gracen almost always twirls in circles... not sure if that's an official dance move or not ;)

WARNING: the video is a little painful to listen to...think...tap-dancin preschoolers.

(And yes, we all know when its Nutcracker time 10 years from now, that cute little Asian girl WILL get the part of Clara!)

a 4th birthday, a 1st ponytail, and a patheticake

...and the party is still to come!

I've done a horrible job of tracking the fun things Gracen says these days, but she makes me smile several times a day. Here's a few from lately:

-"Mom, if you want me to do anything, you have to ask nicely. You need to say
Gracen, open the door, PLEASE. okay?"

-"Daddy, are you all done growing yet?"

-"When I grow up, am I gonna have lots and lots of babies?"

-"Hey, I look like you wearing a bra!" (found her bikini top in a drawer)

-"Is Papa Nana's friend?"

-"Its makes me mad and sad when you tell me to obey."

-"Molls, when you die, you're gonna go to heaven. That's where Grandad is. He's in heaven."

Also this week, she gave her stuffed dogs a grooming (yeah, with actual scissors and missing fur) and took all the money from Molly's piggy bank and put it in her own so she could "buy more presents for herself..."

AND Molly finally has enough hair for the pebbles updo! I've waited 18 months for this day! Am I desperate?
