Red kitchen

Well, I like it. Reds are hard to pick from a tiny color swatch, and it looks great. Brian starts to work tomorrow with cabinets, and I'll be in California, enjoying the beach, shopping, and Sea World. yeah, I DO feel bad! The camera is coming with me, so next time you see kitchen pictures, it should be nearing complete. WHOO HOO!

Well, life can't get more exciting than a sink and dishwasher. Brian and I are painting this week, and next week while I'm visiting mom and dad in California, he's taking off work to install the rest of it! Brian jokes that I'm not coming back home until its DONE...(little does he know.)

Now, MORE IMPORTANTLY, a Gracen update. The little missy is so grown up. She walks around the house carrying dolls and purses. She won't let us feed her, she must do it HERSELF. She loves to kiss (MMMMM-UH) everything, including books, shoes, toys, and sometimes, even us! These days, Gracen loves to take our stuff and hide it. I found my perfume in the trash the other day, and some magnets in the living room end tables. I've also found my new GAP slippers in the toilet. She's obsessed with the toilet. fun stuff.

Another productive weekend

Brian is making amazing progress in our new kitchen. I finally got in to take some new pictures:


He's framed in the laundry room, and sheetrocked it since this pic!


Here's the new bigger window Brian recently put in. Lets in so much light, i love it.

Brian's finished the washer/dryer hook-ups, just finishing the vent here.

I also wanted to show this cute picture of Gracen. Here she's spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa Truskett (in their bed) and woke up snuggling with Maggie. Its like a real live stuffed animal!



In other news, I quit my job at KFDI this week. I'm so excited to spend ALL my evenings at home with my family now!!
